Rooted in the Chinese tradition of gifting money in red envelopes, hong bao symbolize luck, prosperity, and well wishes. This series reimagines the tradition through a modular system: each envelope is fully functional on its own, while together they form a single image. Die-cut gold foil overlays the red envelopes, creating a layered composition that references the symbolic red and gold of traditional hong bao.
